I have had these speakers for about 3 weeks now. My first impression is that they are nice looking, well made speakers. They also look professional, especially the front and back. I like the banana plug only inputs. For mine the grills were a bit difficult to get off but that isn't an issue.
The first and most important thing is that these are very specific amplifier dependent speakers. What I mean is that the right amplifier is crucial for these speakers to perform their best, a person could say that for all speakers, but for these it is everything. I used several amps and the amps that worked the best were the ones that fell between 5 to 10 watts. One was a tube amp (Elekit) and the other was a class D amp (Joey Roth). Both of these have a 4 ohm output. Any other amp I used that was less than 5 or more than 10 or 15 watts didn't work so well. The drivers had difficulty with under or over powered amps. So, the Spotless power recommendation is very correct. If the power was too much or too little the drivers would rattle (make some type of unwanted), even at lower volume.
I mostly listened in a small area 10' X 12' at about 5 to 6 feet away. Not desktop near-field but somewhat near-field.
I was impressed with the bass that these small drivers were able to create. But at times I felt the sound was slightly constricted. If the music becomes too busy then they can't keep up with the demand. I think rock and heavy orchestra is not suitable for the Seed 2.1 unless you listen to them at very low levels. For jazz or light, easy music they play well. I don't have the bass units, so perhaps with the addition of those the music would open up much more. For me, if there was any negative in the sound it was the top end, they need more sparkle up top.
If you want to purchase these just be aware of a 2 inch driver's limitation and the proper power to feed them.
I love single driver speakers. There is something special in their sound, pure. So I wanted to try these.
What Spotless got out of a 2 inch driver is really something unique. They look much better than many of the small desktop speaker offerings out there.
They are classy and cute.
I love the simple elegant look of this amp and its small size. I love the wood, the way the tubes are displayed, and the volume knob feels very nice. There isn't anything else on the market quite like this gem of an amp. I had never tried 6SN7/6N8P tubes before either, so this was a chance to give them a try. Looks great, sounds great, really well made, and for a very reasonable price! I wonder why there aren't YouTube videos hyping this amp up.
The product is good overall, but the workmanship needs improvement. There are some minor issues with the panel. The remote control needs better quality - it feels cheap and has slow response, making it not very user-friendly. Despite these issues, I'm still quite satisfied overall.
The sound test results were good with nice audio quality. The overall design is aesthetically pleasing and fits well. The shop owner's customer service was patient and had a good attitude when answering questions.

Perfectly resolved the original resonance and standing wave issues. The entire equipment's performance has reached a new level. Fantastic!
I'm a super fan of this brand and have been buying from them for many years. This time, when there was a slight defect with my purchase, the seller immediately offered to replace it. Even when there was still an issue and I said it was fine, they insisted on replacing it again. In all my years shopping online, this kind of first-class service is rare - you rarely see such a responsible seller. Wishing the seller great business success and prosperity!
Appearance and material: Super attractive with excellent quality feel
Sound quality: Expectations exceeded by 10,000%
Initial unboxing reaction: "Wow, it's this small?"
Design is incredibly beautiful
Amazing how such a small speaker can produce such good, powerful sound.
As a long-time fan, my loyalty has paid off. I've always loved this brand so much!
After receiving the speakers, I immediately started the burn-in process. I waited several days before writing this serious review. Initially, the sound was somewhat rigid, but the three-frequency response was honest and without issues. After burning in, the soundstage began to expand, possibly due to the mini tube amp's drive making vocals more prominent. The speaker tuning shows real effort. As a 2-inch full-range speaker, while it can't compete with more established brand names, it's definitely the most aesthetically pleasing and sonically refined product in the 2-inch category. It will be perfect for my new house's study room. I'm speaking as someone who owns speakers from B&W, Tannoy, JBL, KEF, and Klipsch, so I hope this review helps potential buyers who are considering this purchase.
After burning in the equipment for two days with a discrete FET Class A preamp + NuPrime STA-9X power amp, there's some noticeable effect. The listening experience is similar to P3esr after rain clearing up. Nice... continuing to burn in at low heat 😊
The floating design is truly stylish, full of industrial vibes. Excellent craftsmanship, the lid fits perfectly, genuinely high-quality materials!
High-end and minimalist. Build quality: The materials and feel are excellent! I opened and tried it as soon as I received it! Thank you very much! Just tested it for a bit - the experience is great! The sound quality is relaxed, spacious, and has substance! For now, I've only experienced it with Bluetooth; I'll come back with a more in-depth review after trying it with vinyl and CDs!
I was drawn in by the seller's video demonstration. Since I regularly record audio equipment demos myself and watch various gear demonstrations, I have a good understanding and feel for sound quality presented in videos. While this certainly can't compare to listening in person, which is the most direct and personal experience, the video demonstration was already about 90% accurate to reality. The seller confidently showed demonstrations recorded with just a phone, which really showed their confidence in the product. This convinced me to decisively purchase this tube amplifier set with the 5.2 bookshelf speakers and matching cables... The more I listen, the better it sounds!
The appearance is compact and elegant, and the sound quality is quite good considering its size. It's an excellent choice for small spaces. The only consideration is that the value for money is subjective and depends on personal opinion. It really comes down to your specific needs.
